AFC Oakley run two senior Saturday teams (1st & Development) in the Bedfordshire County Football League, in recent years the teams have been extremely successful winning both league & cup competitions.

Bedfordshire County League Premier Division Winners: 2015/16, 2013/14.
Britannia Cup Winners 2015/16,2012/13,2011/12.
County Senior Trophy Finalists 2014/15. Reserves Team Division 2 Winners 2013/14.

AFC Oakley Vets compete in the Bedfordshire Northern Vets Football League, finishing runners up and 6th in the 2022/23 season.

We have two teams for the 2023/2024 Season, AFC Oakley Blues & AFC Oakley Whites.

We have 3 teams at u16’s (Jaguars, Panthers and Pumas). We have split our teams based on ability but have worked hard to keep a ‘one club’ mentality right from when we started at u6’s. we train on the same nights, often mixing training up and mixing the coaches up too and socially everything we do we do as one.

Our Pumas play in MKDDL div 1 and have just completed the ‘treble’ of league, cup and European tour titles.

Our Panthers are looking to build on their 4^th place finish in last seasons Div 3 and push on for promotion this coming season.

Our Jaguars had a great season last year, finishing mid table in their first season since gaining promotion the year before and are looking to finish in the top few places this season.

Despite our success our main aims are for every person who plays for us to enjoy themselves and to develop as both footballers and human beings.

Welcome to AFC Oakley’s Under 14 age group.

We currently have over 50 players in our U14 age group and run three teams (Falcons, Ravens and Eagles).

Our players are supported by a coaching team of 5 volunteer coaches (FA Coaching Award Level 1 & 2 qualified) split between each team, and many of our players and coaches have been together as a group since we were Under 6’s during the 2015-16 season.

Our teams will be playing in the MKDDL leagues (Div 1, Div 5 and Div 7) on a Saturday morning and currently train once a week on a Monday evening from 6 – 7 pm.

Our age group also organises a tour every other season in early May and have been to Weymouth, Clacton and Skegness in previous seasons. We also encourage participation in a number of club and age group fund raising events including an end of season inter-club tournament.

The Under 14’s also have a closed Facebook page and WhatsApp groups for parents and carers to receive regular updates and news.

Welcome to AFC Oakley – Tornados, Tsunamis, Hurricanes, Blizzards & Spartans

We currently have over 70 players in our squad (The Stormers) who are supported by a coaching team of eleven coaches, with qualifications including UEFA C, FA Level 1 and introduction to coaching football.

We have been together as a group since we were Under 6’s, adding many new players along the way.

We are all about developing football skills, having fun, supporting each other and doing our best.

Games are played at home in Oakley. We play on both Saturdays and Sundays, with teams in all levels of divisions.

AFC Oakley U8s (Oakley Bootroom)

For this season we are running 3 league squads in the MKDDL. This will be our first season in the league. All lead coaches are at least FA Level 1 qualified.

Although run as their own squads we all train together at same time and venue each week. We also run a training squad to further develop players.

Following on from a successful season last year that focused on player development and the introduction of friendly matches, this season will see the this age group enter the Milton Keynes Development and District League (MKDDL) for the first time. Players will play in one of the 4 teams that have been entered into the league and players will be placed into a team that we believe gives them the best chance to develop.

Although run as their own individual match day squads, all players will train together at the same time and venue each week, with the whole age group being based around a one team ethos.

We currently have 7 coaches in the age group, with at least the lead coach of each team holding the FA Introduction to Football Coaching Certificate

This season, in addition to regular training sessions at Oakley Sports and Social Club on Saturday mornings, we shall introduce structured friendly fixtures against opposition outside of AFC Oakley. There will be home and away fixtures and initially, teams will be of mixed ability and changed throughout the weeks.

AFC Oakley U6s (Development)

The youngest age group starting out on their football journey. There are no leagues or matches for this age group, however, the weekly training sessions are all about having fun, trying our best, encouraging and supportingeach otheras well as learning and developing some fundamental football skills.

Training sessions are held on a Saturday morning at Oakley Sports and Social Club.
