So far, the only known way to get to Grymforge is via the Underdark. Once players resolve the issue between the Druids and the Goblins along the coastline, players will be prompted to go to Moonrise Tower so they can find more leads on how to remove the Illithid tadpole in their heads.

Underdark is level 4-6 content. Mountain Pass and Grymforge are both Level 5-7 content. It'll be fairly easy going in the Underdark but the difficulty should pick back up once you reach Grymforge.

When a character interacts with the lava valve, it will flood the arena with molten liquid, save for the elevated sections. It also causes the Baldur's Gate 3 Grym boss to appear. This brings the quest to an end, but if you find more Mithral ore, you can always come back to create more items, and you won't have to fight Grym next time. Use the lever on the opposite side from the grate to raise the platform so you can continue to explore the area.

Getting to the Goblin Camp

Head west from the Druids' Grove, across the stone bridge until you reach a small village. You can fight or talk your way into the village, but the goblin camp is further west from here. You can also walk south around the perimeter of the village, until you find a bridge leading southwest.
