Forgotten Memories: Memory Lane (2024)

Forgotten Memories: Memory Lane is the first major update to Forgotten Memories, it released on October 31-November 1 (depends on timezones).

It's a maze mode, featuring 2 unique mazes with different puzzles and 2 main animatronics per maze (excluding shadow bonnie or Mr. Hippo): The Pizzeria and the Basem*nt (also called 'The Underground'). It features 6 new animatronics as well as 2 more animatronics called Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare coming in the upcoming 3rd maze "Asylum". There's 3 hidden cassette tapes with 1 in each map. They're locked behind a passcode door, The codes are 7437 for pizzeria 6554 for basem*nt . Third tape is inaccessible as the 3rd maze isn't in the game yet.

Forgotten Memories: Memory Lane (1)

The Pizzeria is the first level in the new update. It has 3 new animatronics: Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie and also Shadow Bonnie. Occasionally you can also get randomly jumpscared by a purple image of William Afton (might be hard to notice the image sometimes), just like in the story mode where you can sometimes get jumpscared by purple eyes or a green face. The ones in memory lane are much scarier though. The other 2 animatronics roam around the map, trying to find you. Freddy roams in the first part of the Pizzeria, while Bonnie roams in the Arcade. Shadow Bonnie however, is much different from these 2, he sometimes spawns in rooms or on top of generators. If you get too close to him, he'll violently jumpscare and kill you. To avoid him, you just have to wait for him to disappear.

Objective[]

To escape the pizzeria, you must activate 6 levers, 4 generators and locate the terminal code. You must first activate 3 levers and 1 generator to get to the arcade, where bonnie roams around. Then you must activate 2 more generators and 3 more levers to get to the terminal, where you can activate the last generator and then solve the puzzle.

The Basem*nt is the second level in the update, it has 4 animatronics: Nightmare Foxy, Nightmare Chica, Mr. Hippo (friendly) and it also has shadow bonnie from the previous maze, which appears in the hallway or in the conveyor rooms. It also has its random jumpscare like in pizzeria but this time it's a creepy smile, it will jumpscare you if you turn around when hearing knocking sounds behind you. Foxy and Chica don't have any special mechanics unlike in story mode, Foxy is just much faster than Chica and that's all.

Objective[]

Firstly, you need to find 3 breakers around the map. One of them is in the huge storage room and the others should be somewhere near the conveyor rooms. After that, you must build Mr. Hippo in order to escape. There are conveyor rooms located around the map which can create Hippo's parts. There's material boxes scattered around the maze which you must put on the conveyers in order to create the parts. Once you've fully built mr. Hippo and activated him, you must follow him to the exit where he lets you escape. He very sadly gets destroyed by the nightmare animatronics before he can escape.

This is the 3rd and final level of the memory lane update. Unfortunately it isn't finished yet and didn't come with the update, it will get added in the next update though. Not much is known about it other than a few screenshots and that it'll have 2 new nightmare animatronics: Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare. It will most likely also have shadow bonnie too just like the other mazes do.

Images of the Asylum sent in the Qubix Games Discord server by one of the developers. First sneak peak seems to be a chica animatronic (most likely from story mode) that you have to build. Second leak shows Nightmare fredbear and some kind of huge machine/generator. This possibly could be the 'Remnant Transmitter' that was mentioned on on one of the notes in the Pizzeria? Third leak on the right shows what the game's thumbnail will look like once the maze releases. The thumbnail was made by @kai on discord in celebration of the game reaching 100M visits. Fourth leak on the right shows even more of what the maze will look like. You can see a fuse box, which will probably be important to the maze's objective. It's confirmed that the maze will be extremely hard.

There's 3 secret tapes in the new update, one per maze with each of them locked behind a passcode door. There's also secret notes in the Pizzeria which extend the game's lore. The tapes don't have any known use yet and will most likely have one is the maze 3 update. Pizzeria's code starts with 7437 and basem*nt's code starts with a 6554.

These are 2 unused death screens which didn't make it into the update. They were shown a long time ago in the sneak peeks channel of the Qubix Games Discord Server. The text shown on these death screens is just placeholder text from story mode and doesn't actually mean foxy was supposed to have a mechanic in the maze mode.
