Also equipped with advanced night vision up to 30 feet, you won't be missing anything that goes on around your house with the C200 camera, reports the Express. Tapo's camera also features smart motion detection technology that will send instant notifications to your phone when movement is detected.

On top of this, the device also comes with a built-in microphone and speaker so you can communicate with family and pets or ward off any expected intruders.

Another added: "I bought this camera to monitor the loft, as we suspected we had rats – and we did! The camera captured everything, including footage of the rats getting caught in traps. The motion sensor works really well, sometimes even a bit too well, as it picked up dust particles in the dark.

"But overall, it’s been incredibly useful for keeping an eye on the space. The night vision is clear, and the setup was straightforward (I purchased two and linked them in the app). If you need something reliable for pest monitoring or general home security, this is a solid choice!"

While a third five-star reviewer said: "I love it so easy to install great clear picture and love notifications when any motion. I get to watch house when I am out. However, not everyone was impressed by the quality, as one reviewer said: "I've owned one of these cameras for one year and a second for five months. Both have become faulty.

"Regular footage glitches, often doesn't detect motion, one or both cameras go offline at separate times, sometimes takes more than 30 seconds to open the app and view live footage which is not ideal in an emergency, randomly displays message 'you have reached device limit for viewing footage' meaning you can't even check saved footage."

Another shopper added: "Unfortunately the camera regularly (at least weekly) goes offline and requires a reset to get it working again. When it’s actually working it’s fine and gives a great picture but very frustrating when it’s not. I’ve emailed the support desk for help, however no response yet."
